A
nursing student of Regional Institute of Medical Science (RIMS), Imphal who
hails from Sonamura subdivision of Sepahijala district died in a gruesome bike
accident at Imphal city today.
The slain nursing student was identified as Abhoy Debnath,
according to sources.
Sangham Chowdhury and Anirban Chowdhury who pursuing MBBS
course in RIMS, Imphal were seriously injured, Both Sangham and Anirban are
resident of the state. They were admitted in RIMS with multiple injuries.
Although details of the incident are not available with the
state police, sources confirmed death of the nursing student hailing from
Sepahijala's Sonamura subdivision. Abhoy
was plying the bike when the incident took place in the Imphal city while
Sangham and Anirban were pillion rider. Sources said, reckless driving caused the fatal
road accident.
