District level Handloom fair has
been inaugurated amidst mismanagement and chaos which has angered the
inaugurator Deputy Chief Minister Jishnu Dev Varma in the Dhalai
district of Tripura here this evening.
The fair has been inaugurated by the Deputy Chief Minister Jishnu Dev Varma at local Chandraipara Class XII School ground. Beside him, local MLA Parimal Debbarma, Chairperson of Ambassa Municipal Council Chandan Bhowmik and others have remained present.
In is short inauguaral speech, Dev Varma has remarked, "The Handloom products of Tripura is very attractive outside and has a wide market. But the artists have not being boosted up economically. Henc the present government has been taking initiative plans and schemes to ensure economic boost up for them".
