The Budget for 2019-20 FY has been
prepared to supplement the BJP-IPFT government's dream to make Tripura a self

While speaking to the media on the Budget at the
Civil Secretariat here yesterday, the Chief Minister said presenting to two
deficit-free Budget is the glaring example that the new government has been
working to make the state self sufficiency.
"Making economy a robust is the pre-condition of
attaining self reliant for a state and increase in the revenue collection also
plays key role. The revenue collection has been increased from 10 percent to 25
percent during the past 11 months. This is a very good success on the party of
the government", he said.
Deb said the state government has already
implemented 7th CPC for the employees and pensioners. "But we
could not give full benefits to the employees. We will remain in place for four

benefits will be extended to the employees once state’s revenue colligation
goes up", he promised.

pointed out.

altogether 14,500 smart phones would be given to the students who have
completed graduation. Rs. 5 crore has been earmarked in the Budget for
providing 14500 smart phones.
